For people that hate stereotypes: If you think people should just shut up and stop, put this on your profile. (BOLD the ones you are.)

Dear fuzzy,

I know, you own me. And you like to try and make me jealous on occasion by ignoring me and cuddling up to my dad. But. Please. Books are for reading. They are not beds.

Also, please to stop rubbing your face on my butt when I'm sitting at the computer. You are a ninja cat and it is frightening sometimes.

With love and scritches,
Your seat.

Dear tubby boy,

I know you love me. You tell me every chance you get, what with your purrs that I've only heard come out of car engines before and duckling tendencies. But could you please stop using couches and carpets to sharpen your claws? It's somewhat noisy, and kind of annoying.

Plus, you have a bathing problem.

Cuddles and loves,
Your forever momma.

Both of you,

You are so weird.

There're coyotes in one of our neighbors' yards, and our outside dog keeps barking back at them when they "YI-yi-yi-yi!".

It's kind of creepy.

I went into the living room earlier to see what the heck was going on and he was sitting right at the window just staring into the house. What the heck, dog.

Coyotes sound like zebras. Or like plastic rubbing against your hand.

I think they're in the horse pen. They sound to the right of me.

Anyone got a good way to make a protective dog shut up?

I listen to Thriller way too much.

Other than that, I'm kind of afraid of what'll happen if I do lose my insurance that I've only managed to keep because of taking classes at the local C.C. I mean, it's not that I get sick that often, but I don't really have any plans as to starting my life as of yet, and the idea of coming out of my comfortable nest is kind of scary.

Was three kids advertising the blood drive at school today in costumes. Robot, gorilla, and wolf. WTF, I don't even go to Cromartie.

...What happened to Freddie?

Thanks to one of my classmates, I've picked up original fic writing again. Dammit I do not need this right now.

...And I'm already stuck. Dammit.

god so drained right now you have no idea  )

Well, that was cathartic. It's so much fun how easy it is to make people crazy just by presenting them with facts. The "LALALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU" reaction is amusing too. Secondly. I brought up the fact that anyone who applies for the national healthcare when it's in place has to be an American citizen, and the first thing she brings up after I comment with the fact that, with the economy the way it is now, people she knows may need the help, she immediately fires back that I want to give illegals healthcare. Unfortunate and delicious irony, isn't it?

Basic overview of "Boy in the Striped Pajamas"

"Oh, that's cute, the kid's making nicey-nice with a Jewish prisoner. Is that all this movie is abo-- OH MY GOD NO. NO NO NO. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO! HOW COULD THEY OH MY GOD NO"

Aka, "sugar sugar sugar getting diabetes now sugar sugar SUDDEN BLOW TO CHEST"

EDIT: Okay, it's about an hour later, and I'm just getting over the attacks of tears. If you like crying for an hour, watch the movie. If not, avoid it.

Ever think the Warner Brothers and Dot from Animaniacs might actually be the most sane characters on the show, driving everybody else insane with logic?

[ profile] themoonourscars was designed to be a low-pressure Saiyuki "rehearsal" community - something in-between a dressing room and a formal RPG. Like a dressing room, no formal application process is required to join the community. Furthermore, as there is no overarching community-level plot line, players may create individual threads and play any character(s) they choose. However, like to a formal RPG, each thread is meant to convey a story and, therefore, must have an intended plot or guiding prompt.

In other words, if a formal RPG can be compared to writing a complex multi-chapter story, then this "rehearsal" community would be the equivalent of writing a collection of stand-alone stories. The setting, plot, and casting choices for each story are determined at the thread level, rather than at the community level.

Don't have time to commit to a formal RPG? Want the opportunity to try out different characters? Have that plot bunny you've been wanting to work through? This is the community for you!

For more information, please feel free to contact [ profile] truthfacesmile or browse the profile page for community and the OOC community:
